Founded in 1958 and based in Mumbai, Hindalco Industries is one of the world's largest producers of aluminum and copper, operating across India, the United States, Brazil, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany, and China. The company covers the full production chain, from mining bauxite and refining it into alumina, to making finished aluminum products like rolled sheets, foils, and extruded parts used in construction, packaging, aerospace, and electric vehicles. Through its global subsidiary Novelis and its domestic copper business, Hindalco also produces copper rods, tubes, and precious metal by-products, serving a wide range of industries under several well-known product brands.
