Business Description
Adani Power Limited is one of India's largest private electricity producers, generating and selling power to customers through a network of coal-fired and solar plants spread across multiple states, with a total installed capacity of 17,550 megawatts. Founded in 1988 and based in Ahmedabad, the company supplies electricity under long-term contracts as well as shorter agreements and open-market arrangements. Adani Power also runs a coal import and trading business to support its operations.
