The fund puts the vast majority of its money into stocks of companies based outside the United States, as well as related financial instruments that track those stocks. Investment decisions are guided by a proprietary model created by BFA and its partners, which identifies and shifts between different market factors over time. The goal is to generate returns from international markets while actively responding to changing economic conditions.
