The fund focuses on high yield corporate bonds sold in U.S. dollars within the American market. It follows a structured index and keeps the large majority of its holdings in the bonds that make up that index. A significant portion of the remaining assets also goes into similar fixed income securities chosen to closely match the index's overall performance.
