This fund puts the vast majority of its money into shares of U.S. companies that are expected to experience relatively stable price movements over time. To identify these companies, the fund's managers use mathematical models to predict how much a stock's price is likely to fluctuate in the future. While the approach is largely driven by data and set formulas, the managers retain some flexibility to apply their own judgment when making investment decisions.
