This fund puts the vast majority of its money into preferred stocks and other assets that generate regular income, including hybrid and convertible securities. Most holdings carry a credit rating of BB or higher, though the fund may also include unrated securities it considers to be of similar quality. It concentrates its holdings rather than spreading investments broadly across many positions.
