This fund keeps the vast majority of its money in bonds and similar fixed-income investments, focusing on high-quality, U.S. dollar-denominated debt with an average holding period of one year or less. While it primarily targets domestic investment-grade securities, it may also include foreign bonds, even from developing markets, as long as they are priced in U.S. dollars.
