This fund focuses on high-yield bonds from emerging market governments, government-linked organizations, and companies that issue debt in U.S. dollars. The majority of the fund's money is placed directly into bonds that make up its benchmark index, with an even larger portion held in similar bond types to closely follow that index's performance. The bonds included carry below investment-grade credit ratings and may offer either fixed or variable interest rates.
