This fund puts nearly all of its money into small company stocks from emerging markets, chosen based on the dividends those companies pay out. The selection is drawn from a broader emerging markets index, with holdings weighted according to financial fundamentals rather than company size. Because the fund concentrates its investments in a relatively small number of holdings, it carries a higher level of risk than a broadly diversified fund.
