This fund puts nearly all of its money into high dividend-paying stocks from emerging markets, chosen based on how much income they generate for investors. The stocks are selected from a broader emerging markets dividend index, with the final group made up of the top-yielding companies. Because the fund concentrates its holdings in a smaller number of positions, it carries more risk than a broadly diversified fund.
