This fund puts nearly all of its money into U.S. convertible securities, including convertible bonds and convertible preferred stock. Its portfolio is built to closely mirror a specific index that tracks this segment of the American market. A small portion may go toward similar securities that the fund's manager believes behave in much the same way as those in the index.
