This fund puts the vast majority of its money into companies that own or profit from natural resources, such as oil, minerals, or timber. The fund's manager decides which businesses qualify based on whether they hold natural resource assets or earn most of their income from them. Unlike many other funds, this one does not spread its investments broadly across different industries.
