Business Description

Founded over a century ago and headquartered in Irving, Texas, Commercial Metals Company collects and processes scrap metal, then transforms it into steel and other metal products sold across the United States, Poland, China, and beyond. The company supplies a wide range of customers ? from steel mills and foundries to construction firms ? with everything from raw materials to finished steel bars, wire, and mesh. It also fabricates reinforced steel components used in buildings, bridges, highways, and other major structures, while renting and selling equipment to concrete contractors. A smaller division serves specialized markets, including the trucking, energy, and defense industries.
