This fund puts the vast majority of its money into shares of smaller American companies, along with related funds and financial instruments that behave in a similar way. It tracks an index that follows 600 small U.S.-listed companies, weighted by their available market value. The fund is concentrated by nature and does not spread its holdings across a wide range of investments.
