The Low Priced 5, also known as the Small Dogs or Puppies of the Dow, takes the 10 Dogs of the Dow and keeps the 5 with the lowest share price. The idea is that the cheapest high-yield blue chips have the most room to recover. Like the full Dogs of the Dow strategy, it holds the stocks in equal amounts and is rebalanced once a year. |
