Margin expansion means a company keeps more of each dollar of sales as profit, usually through pricing power or scale. Combined with growing revenue it makes earnings grow faster than sales. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges whose latest quarterly net margin, net income divided by revenue, is at least 2 percentage points higher than in the same quarter a year earlier, while revenue grew more than 10%, with the net margins shown for both quarters. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
