This screen finds stocks whose price has just crossed below a rising trend line. A trend line connects two or more swing lows (a rising, support trend line) or swing highs (a falling, resistance trend line), and the more often it is touched, the more significant it becomes. Breaking below the line that supported a series of higher lows is a classic early signal that an uptrend may be ending and a decline may be starting.
