This screen finds stocks whose Tenkan-sen, the 9-period conversion line, is inside the cloud. The Ichimoku Cloud, developed by Goichi Hosoda, combines the Tenkan-sen (9-period midpoint), the Kijun-sen (26-period midpoint) and two leading spans, Senkou Span A and B, that form the cloud, an area of support or resistance. A conversion line inside the cloud points to consolidation and a market searching for direction.
