The Bullish Advance Block, also called a descent block, is a three-candlestick pattern in a downtrend: three bearish candles make lower closes, but their bodies shrink and their lower shadows grow longer from candle to candle. The weakening declines show that selling pressure is fading, so the pattern warns that the downtrend is losing momentum and a bounce or reversal may follow.
