Free cash flow is the cash a business generates after capital spending, the money available for dividends, buybacks, debt repayment and growth. It is harder to flatter than reported earnings. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with positive free cash flow in the latest quarter, up more than 20% from a year earlier, and annual free cash flow higher than in the previous fiscal year. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
