A turnaround is a company that returns to profit after a period of losses. The first profitable quarters often change how investors value a stock, because a company that makes money is valued on its earnings rather than on hope. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges that reported positive earnings per share in each of the last two quarters after a loss in the same quarter a year earlier, biggest improvement first. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
