Steady growers are companies whose profits rise year after year, through good and bad markets. This screen lists stocks on European exchanges whose annual earnings per share were positive four fiscal years ago and increased in each of the three years since, sorted by five-year EPS growth. Long-term investors favor such companies because consistent growth tends to compound into steady share price gains. Prices are in euros, and the list covers stocks traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Milan and the Madrid Stock Exchange with at least 0.5 million euros in average daily trading value.
