Steady growers are companies whose profits rise year after year, through good and bad markets. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges whose annual earnings per share were positive four fiscal years ago and increased in each of the three years since, sorted by five-year EPS growth. Long-term investors favor such companies because consistent growth tends to compound into steady share price gains. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
