Earnings acceleration means a company's profit growth is speeding up: each quarter grows faster than the one before, compared with the same quarter a year earlier. William O'Neil found that many of the biggest stock market winners showed accelerating earnings before their largest advances, and it is the "C" in CAN SLIM. This screen lists stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange whose year-over-year EPS growth increased in each of the last three reported quarters, with a profitable latest quarter and a profitable year-ago quarter, fastest growth first. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the list covers TSX-listed stocks with at least C$1 million in average daily trading value.

exch(tsx) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 1 and eps_qtr > 0 and eps_qtr[4] >= 0.05 and eps_yoy > eps_yoy[1] and eps_yoy[1] > eps_yoy[2] and eps_yoy[2] > 0 and draw(earnrep) and sortby(eps_yoy, desc) and show(eps_yoy as eps_growth, eps_yoy[1] as eps_growth_q1, eps_yoy[2] as eps_growth_q2)
