This fund aims to deliver three times the daily performance of an index made up of the thirty largest semiconductor companies listed in the United States. It does this by using a combination of swaps, securities, and exchange-traded funds to build that amplified exposure. Because it concentrates on a single industry segment and uses leverage, it carries significantly more risk than a typical fund.
