Vow ASA is a Norwegian company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Oslo, that designs, builds, and maintains systems for treating wastewater, food waste, and other waste materials for both cruise ships and land-based industries across Europe and the United States. The company converts waste and biomass into renewable energy and useful chemicals through its proprietary pyrolysis technology, and also offers a patented sterilization process serving the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors. Beyond waste processing, Vow manufactures industrial furnaces and provides ongoing support services including spare parts and maintenance to ship operators. The company holds a strategic partnership with Spanish energy giant Repsol and was previously known as Scanship Holding ASA before rebranding in January 2020.
