This fund puts nearly all of its money into stocks that make up its benchmark index, which tracks publicly traded companies in the United States and Canada that operate in natural resources and commodities. These companies work across three main areas: energy, metals and mining, and agriculture. The fund focuses on a narrow group of holdings rather than spreading investments broadly across many different sectors.
