Kodiak Sciences is a Palo Alto-based company focused on developing treatments for diseases that affect the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. Its most advanced therapy, tarcocimab tedromer, has completed and is currently running multiple late-stage clinical trials targeting conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusion. The company also has earlier-stage treatments in development that aim to address both inflammation and abnormal blood vessel growth in the eye simultaneously.
