The fund's main goal is to deliver twice the daily return of a single underlying asset by using financial contracts such as swaps and futures. At least 80% of its net assets, including any borrowed money, are put to work toward this objective. Because it focuses on one security rather than spreading investments across many, it carries a higher level of concentration risk.
