Founded in 1962 and based in Rio de Janeiro, AXIA Energia SA is one of Brazil's largest power companies, responsible for producing and delivering electricity across the country. The company runs 44 hydroelectric facilities alongside thermal, nuclear, wind, and solar power sources, with a combined output capacity exceeding 42,000 megawatts. It also manages over 66,500 kilometers of transmission lines to move that power where it is needed.
