This screen finds a downward breakout through a level 2 TD demand line, a rising line through the two latest TD point lows, that also passes DeMark's qualifier 1: the close of the bar before the breakout moved against the breakout direction, a sign of genuine supply rather than exhaustion. Thomas DeMark draws TD lines objectively through the two most recent TD points, highs or lows with lower highs or higher lows on each side; the level, or magnitude, is the number of bars on each side. Qualifiers help separate valid breakdowns from false ones.
