A Closing Price Bearish Reversal forms in an uptrend when a bar trades above the previous high but closes below the previous close. It is a milder signal than a key reversal, since the close does not need to break the previous low, but it still shows that sellers pushed back after the new high and can mark the end of an advance when it appears near resistance.
