A P&F Bullish Reversal is a buy signal that comes after a series of lower highs and lower lows: a column of X's rises above the previous X column and ends the downtrend on the chart. Point and Figure charts plot rising prices as columns of X's and falling prices as columns of O's, ignore time, and add a new column only on a reversal of several boxes, which filters out minor moves. The first higher high after a decline suggests that buyers are taking control.
