This screen finds companies with a Piotroski F-Score from 0 to 1. The Piotroski F-Score, developed by accounting professor Joseph Piotroski, awards one point for each of nine tests of profitability, leverage and liquidity, and operating efficiency, giving a score from 0 to 9. Low scores point to weak or deteriorating fundamentals, such as losses, rising debt or shrinking margins, and Piotroski found that such stocks tended to underperform.
