A Heikin Ashi Green Trend means at least seven green Heikin Ashi candles in a row. Heikin Ashi candles average the open, high, low and close of each bar with the previous candle, which filters out noise and makes trends easier to see. A long series of green candles shows a steady uptrend; trend followers often stay long while the candles remain green and watch for a red candle or shrinking bodies as the first warning of a pause.
