This screen finds stocks whose 28-day ADX is above 25. The Average Directional Index, developed by J. Welles Wilder, measures trend strength regardless of direction, while the +DI and -DI lines show whether upward or downward movement dominates; readings above 25 indicate a strong trend. The longer 28-day setting reacts more slowly and filters out short bursts, so a reading above 25 points to a well-established strong trend.
