In Elliott Wave theory a 5-wave impulse is followed by a 3-wave correction labelled A, B and C. This screen lists stocks on NYSE and Nasdaq where a completed 5-wave down impulse was followed by a rise (wave A), a pullback that stayed above the wave 5 low (wave B) and a second rise above the end of wave A (wave C). Wave C ended 7 to 14 bars ago, is still the highest close since wave B and retraced no more than 78% of the whole decline, so the downtrend structure is still intact. The impulse follows the core Elliott rules on closing prices: wave 2 never rises above the start of wave 1, wave 4 stays below the bottom of wave 1, wave 3 is not the shortest of the three declining waves, and wave 5 ends below wave 3. The end of a counter-trend rebound is where the next decline may begin, which makes these stocks candidates for short setups. Because these signals are rare, the list includes all stocks on NYSE and Nasdaq, with no price or liquidity filter.
