This screen lists stocks on European exchanges that reported earnings today or on the previous business day and opened more than 3% above the previous close, with volume at least 1.5 times the 21-day average. A gap on earnings shows that results or guidance changed how investors value the company. Traders watch whether the stock holds the gap: a close near the high of the day is a sign of strength, and the low of the gap day is a common stop level. We have no estimate data, so the gap itself is the measure of the surprise.
